The main lanes of Interstate 45 northbound from the Research Forest/Tamina exit to FM 1488 and southbound from Windsor Lakes to Wellman Road will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday as construction crews begin hanging the overhead beams for flyovers at Texas 242.

All traffic will be diverted to the frontage roads in both directions, from Exit 79 College Park/Needham Road going north, and from the Texas 242 exit going south. Law enforcement will oversee traffic control throughout the weekend. click here for complete story
