A Montgomery County dive team with Precinct 1 retrieved the deceased body of a 67-year-old male County resident from Lake Conroe at approximately 4:21 p.m. on Wednesday.

A boater, upon returning their boat to the boat ramp at Walden on Lake Conroe, noticed an unmanned, running vehicle and a disabled boat floating approximately 200 yards away and notified the police at approximately 11:20 a.m., according to Lt. Tim Cade of the Marine Division. Although the case is still under investigation, Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack said it appears that the deceased was trying to hook up the boat to the vehicle when the incident occurred. click here for complete story
