High school marching bands from throughout Texas and Louisiana will compete in one of the nation’s most prominent championships Saturday at Woodforest Bank Stadium in Shenandoah: The Texas Dairy Queen Bands of America Regional Championship, presented by Yamaha, and hosted by The Woodlands College Park High School Band will feature 24 high school marching bands in the preliminary competition, all of which will be evaluated by a panel of nationally recognized music educators and marching band experts.
The top 10 bands will advance to the evening finals competition, which will ultimately name the Regional Champion. Music and Arts Houston will be the official music store of the event. click here for complete story
