A celebration marking the 40th anniversary of The Woodlands is scheduled for 3-8 p.m. on Oct. 19 at Northshore Park. The event includes an interactive timeline, live music featuring the hits from the past 40 years, a public art exhibit and vendor booths.The event is presented by The Woodlands Township and The Woodlands Development Company and it starts at 3 p.m. with a community picnic with live music performed by local variety band Subdivided.
