It’s been a season of triumphs and challenges for The Woodlands volleyball team, the defending Class 5A state champion.
“When you have a good program,” The Woodlands coach Leslie Madison said, “everybody wants to beat you.”
The Woodlands, the District 16-6A champion, will open its title defense in bi-district play against the Montgomery Lady Bears at 6 p.m. Monday night at Conroe High School.
The Lady Bears (17-25) had a memorable playoff run in their final year as a Class 4A school last season and have fought through several injuries to qualify for the fourth and final playoff berth in District 15-6A. click here for complete story
