The Oak Ridge Lady War Eagles (30-6) started their playoff run against a feisty Klein Bearkats (20-15-1) club, and despite playing strong volleyball, were upended in five games by a score of 25-20, 27-29, 25-11, 22-25, 9-15 at Klein Collins Tuesday night.
“They played amazing,” said Oak Ridge Head Coach Tommie Sledge. “They made some really great adjustments. When we play anybody, it doesn’t matter the team, they’re going to get good kills. We just have to be able to counterbalance that. I feel like we did that, we’ve always been a fighting team, I’m very proud of that, we’ve never given up.”
Leading the way for Oak Ridge was Victoria Harris with 22 kills and ten digs. Brooke Clark had 17 kills and eight digs, and Jackie Ward added 15 assists, 11 digs and six kills. Raigen Cianciulli had 23 digs, and Carly Graham had 31 assists to go along with 11 digs. click here for complete story
