The Woodlands steamrolled through the first two rounds of the state playoffs, defeating both Montgomery and Round Rock McNeil in straight sets to advance to the Region II-6A quarterfinals.

The Lady Highlanders (35-3) will be presented with a tougher test on Tuesday as they travel to Brenham for a 6:30 p.m. matchup against Round Rock Westwood (31-16).

The winner will advance to the regional semifinals on Friday where it will face either Waco Midway or Highland Park at Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum on the campus of Sam Houston State University.
