The Woodlands linebacker Tristan Horton and The Woodlands Christian coach Nate Sanford were recently honored by the Touchdown Club of Houston for their accomplishments on the gridiron this season.Horton, a senior, was named as the organization’s UIL Defensive Player of the Year.

Horton was one of the catalysts for a Highlanders defense that held nine of its 11 opponents to 14 points or less this season.
