Girls Basketball: Osborne, Oak Ridge win in overtime

Oak Ridge’s Alyssa Osborne scored all of her points against Summer Creek on free throws but none meant more than the final two.

With 38 seconds left in overtime, the sophomore point guard connected on two free throws to put the Lady Eagles up by four at the time, helping Oak Ridge to a 62-54 win over the Lady Bulldogs on Monday in a District 16-6A contest. Oak Ridge (6-9, 1-0) saw a six point lead dwindle in the final two minutes of the game as Summer Creek rallied to force overtime. Kelsey Scibek scored a game-high 25 points for Oak Ridge – four points coming on 2-of-2 shooting in the four minute overtime. click here for complete story
