The Woodlands Lady Highlanders sprinted out to a 15-2 lead and finished with a strong run in the fourth quarter en route to a 48-29 district home win over Conroe Friday night.
“The entire year has been a bunch of bumps in the road that we haven’t expected, we know we can’t control the bumps, but we can control our response to the changes. Meghan Musso stepped up and we had great minutes off the bench from Bailey Olson, Meagan McConnell, and Elisa Flores,” said Lady Highlander Head Coach Dana Bruton.
The Woodlands (9-10, 2-1) dictated the tempo early in the game as the Lady Highlanders were 6-for-14 shooting in the first quarter and outscoring Conroe (7-10, 1-2) 15-2 in the first quarter. click here for complete story
