Conroe’s Kalon Easley got the ball into teammate Myron Wright for a layup that put the Tigers in front of Summer Creek 54-53 with 17 seconds left on Friday night at The Pit.
The Bulldogs had trouble finding an opening against Conroe’s scrambling defense, but Traylon Mathews found a path to the basket and used the glass to score the winning basket.
The 55-54 defeat left the Tigers stunned. Conroe trailed for most of the game and didn’t take its first lead until Delvin Palmer scored on an inside move with about 70 seconds to play. click here for complete story
