The Cavaliers (12-12, 1-2) got 16 points from junior guard McKinley Green, seven of which came in the two overtime periods.

Brett Reed scored a team-high 18 points and provided a pair of highlight-reel dunks before fouling out with 1:56 left in the first extra period.

“I was disappointed that our kids didn’t come out and play as well in the second half,” said College Park coach Clifton McNeely, whose team had a 41-25 lead at the break. “I was pleased, though, that we still found a way to get the stops at the end that we needed to pull out a victory.”

Part of the challenge for the Cavs was containing Oak Ridge junior guard Darius Love, who proved to be the star of the game with 38 points, 16 of which came in the fourth quarter as the War Eagles were making their final surge. click here for complete story
