A south Texas teen who was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis earlier this week, has died. Jacob Silva’s friends and family say he will be remembered as a popular kid who was kind to everyone.
He had just gotten his learner’s permit and was excited about learning how to drive. Jennifer Morris, a close family friend says she was with Jacob on Sunday when he said he wasn’t feeling well.
“Sunday we took him to the Monet exhibit, he was complaining that his ears hurt and we thought maybe an ear infection. Something like that…on Monday it got worse.”
Morris says his condition continued to get worse, and doctors diagnosed the 15-year-old with Bacterial Meningitis. click here for complete story & video
