Softball: Tyler’s The Woodlands Supports College Park Lady Cavaliers Softball!

Company mission statements are often regarded as feel good words on a piece of paper or a web page. Tyler’s, a Texas-based athletic, outdoor, and lifestyle retailer, has woven the words of their mission statement into the fabric of its store culture and The Woodlands Community.

On Saturday March 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tyler’s, an athletic apparel store in The Woodlands, is hosting a fundraiser for TheWoodlands College Park Lady Cavaliers Softball program.

CAVALIER-BY-ITSELF2 A percentage of all shopping proceeds during the event are donated back to the team’s athletic department.

District Manager Bobby Dodge and the Tyler’s team will be showcasing the girl’s hard work and dedication to their school and community. There will be photo and autograph stations, interactive games, activities, DJ, refreshments from local merchants along with a limited edition Lady Cavaliers Softball shirt.

Tyler’s has hosted similar events for The Woodland High School girls’ basketball and Oak Ridge High School soccer.

The College Park Lady Cavaliers are keeping expectations high in 2015. Graduating five seniors last year, the 2015 team is young and energized. The Lady Cavs were part of the district 16-6A realignment, making it arguably the toughest district in the state. The journey to playoffs will be a battle, but with the support of the community, the Lady Cavs are up to the challenge.
