The 2015 season has begun for the Kingwood High School baseball team.
On the big diamond, the Mustangs have compiled a 5-4 record entering play this week. That record includes four wins in six games at the Humble ISD Tournament, which raised the curtain on the new season.
Kingwood pitcher Thomas Allison highlighted the event with a 3-0 no-hitter over Cy-Falls. It was Allison’s first career start for the Mustangs.
Defeating the defending state champions was another highlight. Kingwood turned away Flower Mound, 3-1, behind an outstanding pitching performance from Taylor Battle. click here for complete story
