Conroe hasn’t played a baseball game since its 7-4 loss to Cypress Creek on March 7 in the Farrell Classic.

The Tigers (3-7) were scheduled to play in the Texas City tournament over the weekend, but wet weather got in the way and Conroe never got the chance to take the field.
“We teach our guys that you control what you can control,” Conroe coach Jeff Raymer said. “We can’t control the weather. We can only control being ready to play when it’s time to play.”
The Tigers will open District 16-6A play on Tuesday night against The Woodlands, which won the District 14-5A championship last year and claimed a state title in 2013. click here for complete story
