In a district that is rich with golf tradition, Kingwood went down swinging in the final day of the District 16-6A tournament.

Both the Kingwood boys and girls golf teams were in the running for a spot at Regionals in a week in Waco, Texas.

Down the stretch the girls were battling with The Woodlands B team and College Park for the final spot, but fell a shot short, finishing 81-over for the tournament, one shot behind the Cavaliers. click here for complete story
