Pending the official report from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the information from sources at the scene indicate that two males were apprehended at approximately 10 a.m., in the parking lot of Walgreens Pharmacy on the southwest corner of FM 1488 and FM 2978, although it is believed that the intended target was the Wells Fargo Bank across the street, on the southeast corner.

Numerous Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies, and a trooper from the Department of Public Safety converged on the scene, followed by an unmarked patrol car, with pistols drawn according to several eyewitnesses employed at the Kwik Kar Lube & Tune, adjacent to the Walgreens Pharmacy.
