Oak Ridge has more college-bound talent on its roster than ever before, but in this district it’s barely enough. The War Eagles were fourth in District 16-6A going into this week.
“It’s awesome because we get to play tougher teams and all of us are challenged every time, but it’s a fight till the end,” coach Amanda Brimberry said.
Fortunately for the Eagles, their 4-4 record through eight district contests was enough to clinch their eighth consecutive playoff appearance, but with this much talent they’d dominate in most districts. click here for complete story
