ZZ Top rocks The Woodlands

On a heavenly cool Texas Saturday night, ZZ Top brought their barbecued blues-rock back to Houston, playing before a primed crowd in the Woodlands at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

The show was filled with every radio hit devotees could wish for plus a handful of nuggets, and ran just over an hour. A guest spot from show opener Jeff Beck, who tenderized the audience with a blistering set of his own, was the fried egg on top of Saturday night’s enchilada plate. click here for complete story
