It was de-ja-vu all over again in Mumford as the Oak Ridge War Eagle (27-1) baseball team shut out the Bowie Bulldogs on one-hit pitching, 2-0 on Friday night to advance to the Region 2-6A semifinal against the Irving-Nimitz/Rockwall winner.

Senior, Luken Baker’s no hitter was ruined in the sixth inning by the same Bulldog that got the lone hit in Game 1, Kyle Gray. Not withstanding another good effort by Gray, Baker made quick work of Bowie as evidenced by the clock barely striking nine (9pm) by the time the game had concluded. click here for complete story
