Former Astros star Lance Berkman has been hired as the new head baseball coach at Second Baptist, Fox 26 reported Saturday.

Berkman replaces Jeff Schroeder, who will remain as the school’s athletic director. Schroeder had guided the Eagles to four TAPPS state championships since 2002, the last of which came in 2014. click here for complete story
