College Park took a step forward.

After falling in the first round of the playoffs five straight years, the Cavaliers advanced to the third round before falling to Lake Travis.

They finished the season as district runners-up and regional quarterfinalists.

“It was a good year, no doubt,” coach Jason Washburnsaid. “These guys have nothing to hang their heads about, and it was an honor for me to be able to come out to the ball yard with them every day.”
