After it was over, Woodlands Strykers shortstop Lance Miles and two of his teammates met with a reporter on the field to discuss the team’s recent plight.
As in, the Strykers watched a potential breakthrough victory go by the wayside. As in, they played well at times, and served up gopher balls in others.
As in, they’ve yet to beat the Victoria Generals, who scored seven runs in the final two innings to outlast the Strykers 17-13 on Wednesday night.
