The art of songwriting is alive at Real Life Real Music, a company founded by Kyle Hutton who hosts the Songwriters Experience Camp in The Woodlands each summer.

Students ages 10-18 write, record and perform an original song in one week to get a feel for the songwriting process.

The first session, which started Monday morning and will end Sunday, began with nervous excitement during the initial introductions. About a dozen musically inclined children were gathered at Dosey Doe off Interstate 45 eager to begin writing an original song. click here for complete story
