After holding the position for just over four years, Dr. Mark Cousins is stepping down from his post as University Interscholatic League’s athletic director. But he isn’t leaving the state’s governing body for public schools.

Cousins, who has been with the UIL since 1994, has accepted a position as Director of Compliance, Eligibility and Education. It’s a new position in the Policy and Compliance Department. Cousins is currently on vacation and unavailable for comment. click here for complete story
