Ryan McCoy stared up the Warped Wall with a quiet confidence.
After months of training for the American Ninja Warrior Houston qualifier, McCoy, a long-time resident of The Woodlands, knew the 14-foot curved wall was a blip on his radar, and final hurdle, after conquering the previous five obstacles with relative ease.

McCoy flew up the Warped Wall and with a spectacular showing in the finals the next day, he clinched a spot in the American Ninja Warrior finals in Las Vegas, which was held filmed recently.
“When I made it to the Warped Wall, I was pumped,” McCoy said. “I’ve practiced it a million times. I could do it in my sleep. It was like a dream come true.”
McCoy was one of only 15 competitors to advance out of the Houston qualifier, which was filmed in March and aired on NBC on June 8. He finished 10th overall with a time of 3 minutes, 7.16 seconds in the finals. click here for complete story
