The 2014 volleyball season wasn’t one the Atascocita program will look back on too fondly, as the Lady Eagles finished 12-25 overall and 3-9 in district 16-6A.

This season however, Coach Blair Greenwood believes his team has made the necessary adjustments to not only earn the team’s first postseason berth since 2011, but to cause a bit of chaos in district along the way.

“I expect us to make the playoffs, I expect us to beat teams we couldn’t last year,” he said. “We now have a group who’s ready to take the next step, and not just learn how to play.”
