The Woodlands College Park High School hosted their annual volleyball camp from June 20-23, and youth from The Woodlands area came out in numbers.
The camp, for incoming 4th thru 9th grade girls featured two sessions — an session for elementary school players and an session for incoming middle school thru incoming high school freshman. Participants had the opportunity to work with the College Park coaching staff led by 11-year Lady Cavalier head coach Candice Collins.
The camp serves many purposes. First and foremost, it is to teach the basic fundamentals of volleyball to the younger campers. For the older campers, it is about helping them develop their skill sets. Coach Collins summer camps span the scope of skills for students looking to learn the fundamentals of the game, or hone their craft to prepare for the next level of competition.
