Every year, the nonprofit advocacy group Children At Risk ranks school districts across Texas, giving weight to the performance of economically disadvantaged students.
Children at Risk granted Conroe Independent School District an ‘A’ rating during its 2015 report. Conroe ISD was one of the top 10 large school districts in the state and was one of two school districts in Montgomery County to receive that letter grade.
