The end of summer is fast approaching and that means kids will return to a regular schedule for the start of the 2015-16 school year.Conroe Independent School District will welcome back students on Aug. 24. Supermarkets are already stockpiling school supplies for the back-to-school rush, and school districts are gathering administrators and, soon, teachers for meetings and staff training in advance of the school year.

“The start of the school year is exciting,” said Conroe ISD superintendent Don Stockton. “The last few weeks in the summer is a real strong preparation time for the district.”
