Oak Ridge High school senior Quarterback Braden Letney is in a unique position. It isn’t every day that a high school quarterback begins his fourth year as the varsity signal caller.When Derek Rush took over as the War Eagles head coach four years ago, he approach Letney, then a freshman, about moving up to varsity.
Letney accepted and went to work. In his sophomore season, he suffered an ankle injury that cut his season short. Then he suffered a concussion during the first game of his junior season.
Coming into his senior season, he is healthy and feeling better than ever. The Villager’s Demetrio Teniente caught up with Letney and talked to him about the upcoming season. click here for complete story
