With top finish at Gator Classic, College Park takes steps to succeed
The College Park boys cross country team picked up where it left off last season, winning their first meet of the season.
The Cavaliers won the Gator Swamp Classic in Dickinson without their top runners.
“I was excited for them,” coach Mike Gibson said.
“Any time you can go to a meet and win that’s neat. Regardless of the level you’re at it’s a great experience to go to a meet and win, and for those guys to do that right out of the gate was great.”
The Cavs tied Kingwood, so they went to their sixth-place runners to break the tie, and theirs was higher. click here for complete story
