Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy Constables say someone in a Dodge Charger nearly hit them as they were working the scene of an earlier chase and arrest.

The first scene started at about 10 p.m. when deputy constables spotted a white pickup on FM 1314 just north of Highway 59. Three men in the pickup were throwing something out the window. After stopping the pickup, a male passenger jumped out and ran into the woods.

The suspect was later taken into custody, but not before the constable injured his knee during the search. click here for complete story
