The Woodlands was known as McCullough High School when the Conroe Independent School District began growing in leaps and bounds in the late 1970s.

It’s been a competitive, spirited rivalry ever since, although the Highlanders have held the upper hand over the last couple decades.

On Friday night, the visiting Tigers from Conroe will make the short trip to face the Highlanders in a 7 p.m. game at Woodforest Bank Stadium in Shenandoah.
