Coming off a big District 16-6A win against College Park on Friday, Summer Creek came into a matchup Tuesday with the two-time defending state champion The Woodlands Lady Highlanders as the team with a view from above in the district standings.

The Lady Bulldogs owned a 3-1 record along with Kingwood and College Park for a three-way tie for first place entering the match but took their second district loss as the Lady Highlanders earned a 25-17, 25-16, 25-20 victory. click here for complete story
