After sweeping Round Rock Westwood in the Area Round of the playoffs four days ago, The Woodlands extended its win streak to 12 and made it look easy.

Tuesday night, The Lady Highlanders, led by coach Terri Wade, swept Lake Travis 25-18, 25-23, 25-12, for its second consecutive sweep of the postseason.

“The first thing I had to say to the girls was that yes we had some good offense,” Wade said. “But our defense led the core. There was no hesitation and everyone was counting on each other and knew where to be. We were going for balls that were taking us out of position and that kept us going all night long.”

Mia Primavera and Colby Quinn combined for 24 digs while Sophie Walls added another 13 to bolster that defensive effort. click HERE for complete story
