Second grade students at The John Cooper School on November 11 ended a month-long study of the Pilgrims with a day of hands-on activities to bring that period of history to life. Students learned games that Pilgrim children played, hand dipped candles, churned butter, cooked, quilted, made corn husk dolls and wrote a note of thanks with a quill pen.
