Though the game was an early district test for both sides, Monday’s Oak Ridge versus Summer Creek girls basketball game at Summer Creek High School had the feel of a postseason scrap with neither side ever taking an overwhelming advantage.
It was the Lady Bulldogs however that held the advantage when it mattered most.
Summer Creek (11-7, 1-1) escaped with a thrilling 41-39 overtime victory over the Lady War Eagles to even its record in District 16-6A, while Oak Ridge fell to 7-7 overall, and 0-1 in district. click here for complete story
