Soccer (girls): War Eagles out to deliver on promise

No baby steps here. The Oak Ridge girls soccer team was young last season, but they still made the playoffs, placing third in District 16-6A.

The War Eagles finished the year 10-9-5 overall.

“We graduated a lot of kids the year before, so it was a transition year for us, and somehow, surprisingly, we finished third in the district, so we hope to build on that this year,” coach James Collins said.
