
It wasn’t the start The Woodlands coach Dina Graves was hoping for at Bear Branch.
Still, losing the opening match of the Lady Highlander Invitational 1-0 to Seven Lakes Thursday afternoon wasn’t all bad.
“There are things we did well and some things we need to work on,” Graves said. “We played a lot of people and got them rotated in. I’m disappointed but not upset. We got a lot of games ahead of us, so I’m not going to focus on one.”
Seven Lakes, ranked No. 1 in Region III-6A by the Texas Assocation of Soccer Coaches, dominated the first half and spent most of its time in The Woodlands defensive third. click here for complete story
