Boys Soccer: Kingwood downs Oak Ridge, 3-1

Kingwood freshman Donovan Josey steals the ball from an Oak Ridge player. Josey scored two of the five goals as the freshman team shut out the War Eagles.

The Kingwood High School Varsity Men’s Soccer team exacted revenge over Oak Ridge after losing to them earlier this year by defeating the War Eagles, 3-1, before a home crowd at KHS stadium.

Sophomore Tristan Graff scored just before halftime off a pass from senior Alexis Arredondo. In the second half, the Mustangs scored off two War Eagles penalties. Senior Ian Nielsen blasted a penalty kick past the goalkeeper and Arredondo netted one off of a free kick to secure the victory. click here for complete story
