
All signs seem to be pointing toward a crucial District 16-6A matchup between The Woodlands and Kingwood on the last night of the regular season. Both teams must take care of business first, though. The Lady Highlanders certainly did that on Friday night, locking up at least a second-place finish in the league standings with a convincing 6-0 victory over Oak Ridge at Woodforest Bank Stadium.
The Woodlands (18-3-1, 9-1) scored three goals in the first half and never looked back on its way to the victory. The Lady Highlanders now have a goal differential of plus-29 in district play and have two games remaining on their schedule. click here for complete story
