Boys Soccer: The Woodlands gets the best of McNeil to advance

The streaks continue. The Woodlands once again played the role of kryptonite against Round Rock McNeil on Friday evening, defeating the Mavericks 2-1 in a Region II-6A area round at A&M Consolidated’s Tiger Stadium.

It was the third straight win for the Highlanders (19-1-3) in postseason meetings between the two programs. The Woodlands also eliminated McNeil (11-6-5) in 2012 and 2014. click here for complete story
