There was plenty of celebrating to be done at High Meadow Ranch Golf Course in Magnolia on Tuesday afternoon, as several local players and teams posted impressive performances at the District 16-6A boys golf championships.

The Woodlands’ A team captured the team district title, finishing with a two-day score of 597 after firing rounds of 300 and 297, respectively. The Kingwood A team took the runner-up spot with a total score of 619, shooting rounds of 304 and 315, respectively. click here for complete story
