Following the deaths of three classmates, as well as two others who attended schools nearby, students at The Woodlands High School rebounded and rallied to raise thousands of dollars for the organization that helped in their time of need.
The TWHS Student Council declared April as its Mental Health Awareness Month, even though it’s held in May nationwide, by acknowledging the challenges of mental illness as well as raising money for Montgomery County Youth Services. The initiative came to fruition in part Wednesday night at the third annual Student vs. Faculty Basketball Game, of which the proceeds benefit MCYS. click here for complete story
