As The Woodlands coach Dina Graves stood on the turf at Gosling Sports Fields Thursday, all bundled up in her red Lady Highlanders soccer hoodie, she gave some thought to the upcoming weather conditions.

“Tomorrow is going to be miserable,” she said.

With a high of 41 and rain showers expected, her team will likely be battling the elements in addition to Vista Ridge, which The Woodlands plays at 5 p.m. tonight in its second game of the Lady Highlander Invitational. That match will be played at Woodforest Bank Stadium. Read more…
