Conroe ISD unveils design plans for new high school
As the Conroe Independent School District and its board of trustees work out the details for a proposed $511 million bond, design plans for a new high school in the Oak Ridge feeder zone have been released.
PBK Architects was contracted by the district to design the new $141.5 million high school. The 3,000-seat ninth through twelfth grade campus is slated to be built off Riley Fuzzel road across from a planned Grand Parkway extension. Funding for the new school will come from the proposed bond.
The district hopes to have the new Oak Ridge high school completed and open in August of 2018. click here for complete story
