Hampshire College in Amherst, Mass., in June became the only institution of higher education in the USA to enforce a “test blind” policy, which means it will reject any test scores itreceives. Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., also recently added its name to the list of more than 800 “test optional” schools across the country.
