Luken Baker can say he was a winner at the All-Star Game on Monday night.
No, he didn’t participate in the Home Run Derby, but he did outslug another high schooler in a two-round, two-person competition held during the main event at Target Field.
Baker, a senior at Oak Ridge High School, hit seven home runs over two rounds, six of them in the first round — drawing a loud reaction from the crowd. Josh Naylor, a first baseman from Canada, finished with four homers, three in the first round. click HERE for complete story
